MANOR12 is the culmination of sophistication and originality in handcrafted textiles,
and represents the artistic vision of Canadian designer Julie Moschenross. Each elegant
piece is handmade using only the finest materials and techniques, and speaks to the client
who values the one-of-a-kind. MANOR12 products leave a lasting impression - as distinctive
textiles for everyday living.
Julie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from York University and is a graduate
of the Textile Design Program at Sheridan College, one of Canada’s top polytechnic institutes.
She spent the last 4 years based at the Textile Studio at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto,
where in 2008 she was given a full-time residency and scholarship. Her work has been
recognized by awards and scholarships from The Association of Textile Mill Representatives,
The Ontario Crafts Council and the Ontario Arts Council. Most recently Julie was given the
'One of a Kind Award for Excellence' offered in conjunction with The Textile Museum of
Canada. She has been featured in her studio on CBC's 'Steven and Chris' and profiled in
NOW Magazine and Style at Home.
Julie currently resides just North of Toronto with her husband Steve and their baby girl Norah.
